Shimogawa Orimono   A Japanese traditional Kurume Kasuri weaving mill in Yame, Fukuoka. Today run by third generation Kasuri master Kyozo Shimogawa together with the father Tomiya Shimogawa and with grate support from the rest of the family. The company has around 20 old Toyota looms from the 50's, all supervised of very skilled weavers and craftworkers with long experience of Kasuri-weaving.

Unagi no nedoko   The local craft hub, an active center who works to promote and highlight local crafts of the Kyushu area. Unagi no nedoko works in many ways to bring forward the very rich craft culture in the area. They have a beautiful shop that works as a showroom filled with craft from all fields. They also arrange guided craft tours where you get to visit the studios and  crafters  behind the products.

Takarajima Senkou   100% Natural hand-dyeing studio run by Chiharu Ohgomori in Mizuma District, Fukuoka. Using only natural dyes Chiharu has become an expert of dying. An indigo master who successfully put the delicate handcrafted products in a modern context and market.

Thomas Asplund and Kristina Åkerberg runs the workshop today and have done so since 2004 when they bought it from the previous owner who had run it for almost 30 years. Together they possess a wide knowledge in the craft of printing and in the workshop you find Heidelberg-machines, some almost 70 years old.
